Aerial
Like most of Federico Díaz’s outdoor objects, the Aerial sculpture evokes direct references to its location. The objects, created for the courtyard of the Bořislavka Center, evoke the history of the site, through which the original merchant trails led towards Prague Castle. The form resembles natural rock formations, petrified trees, or perhaps an arrangement of underground stalagmites, as an embodiment of the passage of time. Aerial was created using robotic fabrication technology of 3D printing UHPC concrete.
